COMPANY
Founded in 1989, Diamantino Coelho & Filho, S.A. is a company dedicated to compound animal feed manufacturing and commerce of agricultural and agro-industrial factors of production.
In 1998, DCF was the first company in Portugal to produce properly formulated low processing feeding mixtures made exclusively with natural ingredients such as grains, forages and several agricultural by-products. Currently, we produce more than 200 tons of compound feed per day in several forms such as grain mixtures, meal and pelleted feed, suitable for the majority of domestic animals and production systems.
The quality and diversity of our products rely on the constant investment in equipment upgrading and R&D activities enabled by a team of highly qualified personnel which over the years have allowed the consolidation of the company in the market and have given it a reference status in the portuguese agro-industrial sector.
Diamantino Coelho starts its activity in commerce and distribution of compound animal feeds, hay, cereals, bakery flour and fertilizers.
Carlos Coelho, Diamantino's son, initiates his collaboration in the business. Construction of 1500 m2 of storage infrastructures in Marmelais-de-Baixo, Tomar.
The company is founded under the name Diamantino Coelho & Filho, Lda.
Creation of a transport company - Transportes Coelho, Lda., in order to increase the distribution capacity of Diamantino Coelho & Filho, Lda.
Acquisition of facilities in Tomar industrial park, current headquarters of the company.
Inauguration of DCF's first factory, in Tomar industrial park. Beginning of compound animal feed manufacture. Creation of DIACO brand - "Natural mixtures for animals". Change of the company's juridical status. The company is renamed Diamantino Coelho & Filho, S.A. Acquisition of facilities in Foros de Salvaterra de Magos dedicated to the reception, packaging and distribution of horticultural products.
Acquisition of a storage unit in Badajoz, Spain.
DCF, S.A. obtains the ISO 9001 certification (Quality Management Systems).
Inauguration of an agricultural supply store - Agriloja, in Marmelais-de-Baixo facilities.
Launching of the bakery flour brand TEMPLÁRIOS.
Beginning of compound animal feed manufacture in pellet, crumble and meal forms. Creation of SOL brand.
Creation of CURRAL brand.
Inauguration of a new plant dedicated to low temperature grain drying and forage processing.
